Here is a post while I find time to post more on Taya's birthday and other post ideas ...
So this is that memory tag that is going around that I've been avoiding, thinking, '...but if I had everyone post a memory of me, isn't that so focused on well, ME?' -- mmmm, but I give in out of my curiousity, and supposedly to contribute to the memory book that I will one day turn my blog into (one day huh). So here it is!! Have fun embarrassing me or my family!
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. If you want to leave a memory about Taya or Paul, that's fine too!

Memories of Breanne... I'm so glad I can be the first to write one! Ok I remember thinking you were the pretty one in dance with the dark red hair (long since gone, we've changed a lot since then...) I also remember being impressed in one of our classes how friendly you were to everyone and I've continued to be impressed with how comfortable you are talking to others. I remember when we were living together that you sang loud in the shower and I thought it was so cute and funny! Since we are talking about singing, I thought you were so brave and talented to sing a capella in relief society in our old singles ward. And I remember how fun it was when we got to live together again for a little while with our hubbies! We've had some good times! I'm so glad we're pals.
My first memory of you would have been at church in the Keating Ward. I don't remember specifics, (but I don't remember a lot of my own childhood either, sooo) but I am probably sure you said hi first. You are always quick to smile and talk to anyone. We would often get together with the hubbies and all hang out-fun, good times. You were so dang cute pregnant-thin with what looked like a ball stuffed in your shirt :) You are one of the most nicest and thoughtful people I know!
oh, btw, how was your trip to Ventura?? Pictures?
I remember when you and Paul had just moved in and came to one of our ward activities. Larry and I were chatting with you guys in the corner and were then *shocked* to discover you had never seen Star Wars... but you are forgiven. Now go repent and start watching them. Ha ha just kidding - you seem pretty cool regardless of this unfortunate detail. :)
Breanne Breanne, remember when I called you at noon and you didn't answer and I left a message saying "It's time to get out of bed, call me back when you wake up" and you called me back and said, 'ohhhhh, I just woke up'. And I thought you were serious because you usually don't joke like that. But you got me good didn't you?
Mike and I remember seeing you at church. One day you were sitting in front of us and turned around and .... BAM! You had a big 'ol belly, and Mike was like.... WHAAAAAAAAT?
Remember when we chatted at PF Changs? I thought you were doing so well being so pregnant. You didn't seem miserable at all.
I also remember holding Taya in church all the time. I LOVED her pretty brown hair --- all the other babies were bald ---- and thought it was so cute. I was sad when it turned blond!
I remember you and Paul coming over to play games or have dinner or something and one of the girls took one of Paul's flip flops and hid it but we didn't know she had done it. And we searched the little apartment and couldn't find it anywhere. I was mortified. Paul was willing to leave with only one shoe (I'm sure he just wanted to leave period.) That was fun. I think we found it in the girl's toy closet.
I have lots of memories. I remember the first time I met you. It was a BYU volleyball game and we talked for a lot of it. I remember going back to the dorms and telling Rachel that there's a cool girl that lives across the hall from us (or something like that).
I remember you being Mary Kathryn Gallagher outside the dorms.
I remember bu-dum-skeeeee (instead of the usual drum sound after a joke).
I remember we went to a party in the middle of winter up at some cabin and I was an idiot and wore my flip flops like always. I was slipping so much on the snow and ice that I just took them off to walk back to the car. (This sounds like it's about me but wait for it). Once we got to the car, I was in so much pain that I could drive and I sat in the backseat while you and Missy massaged them the whole way home. I think that was you at least.
I know there's something really funny that I'm forgetting. Maybe I'll write it later.
