So I looked up the word 'Ode' and it means poem or lyric. Okay, so I used it in the wrong context, but it sounded so good! 'Ode To Grandparents' ... maybe one of you talented writers can come up with a poem to set it right.
Oh, I miss them! What is going on with them? Are they moving? Mission? Write me an email. I want to see you guys sometime... Maybe we could meet in Oxnard or Vegas or something.
Thanks for all your comments Breanne! I felt so special today when I checked my e-mail! You are awesome. I will let you know how the book is, and yes, Scotts sisters all have red hair. My children have no chance, they are destined to be little carrot tops!!
You can now find me at www.redpoppyphoto.com & www.redpoppyphoto.com/blog/. I am snapping away in the photography world and loving it. Maybe one day I will come back and combine blogging more seriously, with my own chosen photography projects. For now though, I blog just a little, Instagram a lot, and I do many portrait and lifestyle photography projects ranging from weddings and events to fashion to documentary-style/story-telling. Come follow me at RedPoppyPhoto!
Yours Truly,

Dad by Design (aka Paul)
Welcome!! MomByDesign has a few meanings to me; I was created to a mom, I have chosen to accept that role & take it seriously ... and, I love design! I am married to a great man (Paul), & have a 3 year old socialite daughter named Taya & a sweetie pie baby girl named Dyllan. We enjoy our times living in the greater Phoenix area, spending time focused on family, church, camping, design, photography, house projects, cooking & good food, and meaningful friends! In the past I've worked in cabinetry design, vocational rehab, and social work (quite the mix huh?), but right now I am enjoying my time at home as a mom, with photography on the side, and rare hobby time spent on interior design, yoga, singing & occassionally (oh so occasionally) putting on some rusty dance shoes. Drop me a line & say hi!
