This was a project I had wanted to do for months since seeing a few other birth stories told by photograph. I had asked Paul if he would be up for playing the dual role of part-time photographer/supporting husband during labor (and of course told him that I might change my mind about him taking time out for photos at any time - Paul balanced both of these roles beautifully). I'm so glad we did this because it makes my Baby Girl Dyllan's birth that much more memorable and poignant to look back on.

What a beautiful pictorial story.
You look majestically noble and beautiful.
Felicitations!
Amazing. She is beautiful. Congratulations.
a) LOVE that dress to the absolute core. have I seen it before?
b) those are such sweet pictures. my favorites are the second to the last -you can just feel the mood- and the one Taya hugging you and her little undies are showing.
c)it goes from pained to calm and happy in 10 seconds flat. (well for us readers)

P.S. I don't like seeing you in pain! It makes me sad.
Hello! I am came across you blog and I love the photos you took of your baby story! I help people take their photos and put them in books, canvas prints, and other fun products. Your daughters will love being able to look back on it and carry around books about them! Here is my blog, let me know what you think!

Love it, congrats. Thanks for sharing. I love the picture of Taya holding the baby, so proud to be the big sister.
I love those and what a wonderful way to keep that memory!
Rockin' idea, Breanne. As usual, you look amazing before, during, and after! I love seeing your mom and dad there-- how nice they are so close. Taya looks like such an excited and proud big sister. Love to you and all.
I love the pictures! I regret not having picturs of my labor with Parker. But I wasn't dressed as modestly as you were ;)
I want to hear details though!! I hope to get to hear the full story sometime.
Awesome and Beautiful! It brought tears to my eyes...the background music probably helped!
Breanne, I love love love the picture of you looking straight at the camera holding Dyllan right after she was born -- that and the one, it looks like she's nursing and you're looking in the camera. You look so triumphant, knowing what you had just conquered. I love all of the pictures though -- and I do love that dress.
(My background music is "Billy Jean is not my lover". haha)
Congratulations! Beautiful pictures...beautiful little girl!
A picture is truly worth a thousand words because this brought me to tears. This is so beautiful. What a great way to document Dyllan's arrival.
Oh, and love the picture of you resting your head on the bed. Classic!
